The rooms and service were good. There was no bad smell, so it was okay to stay and rest. I did find some rust in the tub, though. I recommend staying at this hotel.

We only stayed in the room for two hours before leaving. We’d lost power at home and most other hotels were already booked, but the bed linens weren’t fresh and we found a bed bug crawling on the bed just before turning in. The front desk told us to call John in the morning about a refund. John said he’d have an exterminator inspect for bedbugs before refunding us. I sent him photos of the bug, and he said he’d call back with his decision. I had to call again, and the front desk said John had left, sent the photos to the exterminator, and she didn’t know what was decided. She also said he wouldn’t be back until the following week because it was the weekend. I assume we won’t get a refund, but I wanted others to know there are bedbugs in the hotel and to be cautious if they stay.

I woke up with fleas on me and in my bed. The front desk agent apologized and said I’d need to speak with the manager when he came in. I left quickly, found another hotel to shower, and finished my trip there. I checked with the front desk several times that day. They said the manager still wasn’t in, took my information, and assured me he’d call. I was charged for the room, offered no restitution, and nobody had called 36 hours later. The hotel was disgusting aside from the fleas. There were tears in the wallpaper, mold in the shower, water marks down the walls, and red stains on the bathroom wall that I don’t even want to think about. The location is great and convenient for the conference center, but stay somewhere else. EDIT: This happened the morning of Tuesday, September 23rd. I was assured the manager would call. After I posted this review and emailed, I finally got an email response on Wednesday, October 1st, more than a week later.

We paid $92.00 a night for two double beds. The room was falling apart, with peeling wallpaper, a bathroom countertop coming apart, scuffs on the walls, and dirty box frames. The key card also gave us trouble opening the door. My wife was so grossed out that she went to the truck and slept on a blanket from home. There were some good points: breakfast was good, the night was quiet, the TV and water pressure were good, and the front desk clerk was nice.
