The hot tub was nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were pleasant. Our room was clean too. It’s a bit far from the highway, but it wasn’t crowded and seemed better than anything else we saw here. The price was fair as well.

My son died, and when I tried to explain the change in plans, they wouldn’t waive the cancellation fee. For comparison, I travel for a week at a time twice a month and usually stay at Hilton. The Hiltons I had booked this week cancelled my reservations and offered condolences. Marriott might make money from me in the short run, but I won’t be back, and I won’t let my sales teams use Marriott either. Congratulations on losing me as a customer forever. Enjoy the profit at my expense. I absolutely refuse to support a company that shows zero compassion to someone dealing with a terrible loss.

We were traveling from the West Coast to the East Coast, and this was a great stop right off the freeway. After our stay, the staff sent us a thank-you postcard. That was pretty incredible and thoughtful, and says a lot about Marriot and its outstanding team.

Free parking made the stay more convenient, and the location was great. At Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Grand Island, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, a good place to get a restful night’s sleep. Everything felt welcoming and well maintained. I’d highly recommend it as a reliable, comfortable place to stay.
