Bridgeview Inn | Chicago Area

The people here are nice, but I can't make sense of the room prices. I stayed three days at $75 a night, with a $25 deposit, then was told the next time that it would be $85. I only take one room, usually arriving around 9 or 10 in the evening and leaving at 10:30 in the morning. I don't know why the price changed.

The price is much lower than Blue Star or Motel 6, and the staff seemed thoughtful and kind at first. But when I asked to extend my stay, they refused. Other long-term guests were allowed to stay past 28 days, so it felt like they chose who got that option. I was a mom with a six-year-old, and I had a swollen foot injury that made it hard to move on my own. They made me leave anyway, called the police several times, and offered no help. The officers couldn't change the fact that I was injured. Waiving a late fee doesn't make up for that. The whole thing was horrible and left a bad feeling.

For a cheap place when you're traveling alone, it's a decent deal. The area seemed fairly safe, and the room itself wasn't bad. The remote the concierge gave me had tape on it. This is nowhere near a five-star hotel, and I wouldn't bring my family here.

I needed somewhere to stay, and Bridgeview Inn gave me a safe, peaceful place. The staff were great and understanding, even when I accidentally tripped the circuit breaker. My room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, including the bathroom, and the grounds were well kept. They worked with me on payments, though I don't know whether they have formal payment plans. The price was right, too. Walmart, Pete’s fresh market, Boost Mobile, and Dollar Tree are all nearby, and there are two bus routes around the corner. One goes all the way to my job. It's also just minutes from I-294 and midway. I recommend Bridgeview motel and hope guests help keep Bridgeview Inn in business.
