Hampton Inn & Suites Bridgewater

I wouldn’t recommend it. The room smelled like it had been painted within the past couple of days and hadn’t been aired out. The room and the top sheets and pillows felt a little dusty, too. Bathroom ceiling repairs were visibly still underway. The ceilings and floor are very thin, so you can hear people walking upstairs. Breakfast was okay, but easy to skip.

The coffee service being available day and night was a nice touch, and the front desk staff were wonderful. Kim in particular was lovely to talk with when I checked out Sunday morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, and my room was extremely clean with a very clean bathroom and comfortable beds. It’s not far from Bridgewater Commons shopping mall or the Somerset Patriots minor league baseball team. I’d definitely stay again if I had the chance, and highly recommend it. The staff treated our family kindly and helped us when we needed to change arrangements. Kim was especially helpful and supportive. The lobby felt inviting, with holiday decorations, a fireplace, a snack center, and free hot cider. There was even a snowman with positive messaging. We had no complaints, though bigger pool towels would help since there are no locker rooms to change in. The pool was warm but not sweltering, and the workout center and pool both had plenty of towels and were open for much of the day, great for early birds or night owls. There didn't appear to be locker rooms, and the pool has an accessibility chair. We stayed in a king suite with a nice galley kitchen, living area, desk, and ample bathroom. The shower was nice, towels plentiful, and full soap and hair product dispensers provided. The hotel was quiet, parking plentiful, and the breakfast hearty, with standard fare. I don't usually gush about a chain hotel, but this Hampton Inn and Suites in Bridgewater has a great location and is one of the best Hampton Inns I've stayed in. It made a nice mini-vacation for our family.

I used to stay at Marriott often, but my company recently switched to Hilton, and this new hotel will definitely be my go-to for business. It’s quiet, clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and has friendly, responsive staff. At check-in, Loren explained everything in detail and was very bubbly. Erin at the bar was easygoing and calming, and helped us choose a restaurant in the Somerville area. John at the desk really stood out. I’ve stayed at 26 Hilton hotels this year, and he was one of the most knowledgeable. He sorted out my digital key issues, answered questions about using points for extra nights, and helped me register for several promotions and open a Hilton Amex card. I hope he gets credit for that. Breakfast was great, and the fitness center was well equipped, including a peleton bike. I didn’t use the pool, which I understand was heated.
