Pleasant View B&B

Our only disappointment was arriving on a night when the adjoining pub was closed, so we're already planning another visit. This was a great bed and breakfast, with fantastic hosts, a very comfortable room, and plenty of amenities. The hot tub, above-ground pool, and views were great, and breakfast was incredible.

I booked this charming, immaculate inn at the last minute, and Heidi made me feel welcome and accommodated. I couldn't try her much-praised breakfast this time, so I've made a point of coming back for it. She even got up early to make me coffee before my swimming event. Drinking it on the beautiful wraparound porch was one of my summer highlights. Thank you, Heidi!

We'd never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and Heidi and Don made our first visit memorable. They were so welcoming and friendly that we felt more like family than guests. Our clean, well-kept room had a great view right above the cute pub, but we barely heard any noise from it. The breakfasts were wonderful: I had egg soufflé with ham, fresh strawberries and raspberries, homemade granola, and apple cinnamon scones on the first morning, then filling, yummy pumpkin waffles on the second. I wish I could've taken some scones home. We also spent a few hours in the pub our first night and loved Heidi's cheese panini, though I don't know what cheeses she uses. We'll recommend it to our friends and definitely come back. Thanks, Heidi and Don!

I don't usually choose B&Bs because my past stays generally haven't gone well, but this was my best experience ever. The place was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained, with great fresh food. Even in winter there were fresh-cut flowers on the table each morning. The small attached pub was handy for a drink or quick bite. Thanks, Heidi and Don.
