Deborah thinks of the little things, like putting eggs in the fridge and leaving cheese and crackers for a snack you hadn't realized you wanted. My uncle and I stayed a few weeks ago to remember my father, who always loved moose pond. We had such a fantastic time that I booked the next weekend to bring the family. Gorgeous property, and my daughter loved seeing Deborah's horse Jag. Five stars doesn't do it justice.

That ice cream stand next door is an awesome bonus. We've stayed in the cabin at Denmark Stage Stop House three or four times, usually for a couple of nights, and the management always makes us feel welcome. It's clean and well stocked with what you need to enjoy a stay in Maine. Fresh eggs are waiting in the fridge, there's coffee to brew, and the cabin feels like home. Three people fit very comfortably, and four can stay without trouble. Can recommend without reservation.

Even in the deep cold of winter, the Bungalow Cottage at the Denmark Stage Stop was cozy. The towels and toilet were warm, and the bed and everything around it felt comfortable. Deborah was a marvelous host.

A really private place, with great grounds. The cottage looks like House Beautiful, and Deborah was an excellent host, around when you needed her and out of the way when you didn't.

The pineapple sundae with orange Dole Whip is great. I only knew Dole Whip from Disney World in Orlando before this, and they also sell hard-to-find Annabelles Ice Cream. The raspberry chocolate chip is my favorite, best ice cream around. A great find on our summer vacation. Heard they'll be at Fryeburg Fair, can't wait.
