The room was nice, but the customer service was awful. We arrived just after midnight, and the guy working seemed half asleep and wasn't friendly. Check-in took forever. He mumbled something, then we stood waiting and waiting. My husband finally asked if there was a problem, and he mumbled again about updating the system. He eventually asked our names, then kept moving the mouse and ignoring us like we weren't there. We paid $167 to sleep for eight hours. The least he could have done was be friendly. Never again!

Linda at the front desk was cheerful and really nice, even while handling phone calls and several customers at once. It's always good to run into friendly people when traveling. The hotel is clean and peaceful.

Brandy on the night shift was just as kind and personable as Lizzy was when we arrived. Lizzy made my children and me feel at ease and went out of her way to help us settle in. We had a wonderful stay at Candlewood Suites, and the hospitality made it easy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

My fiance and I spent Valentine's Day here, and the front desk lady gave us one of the Texas Roadhouse coupons she had on hand for dinner. She also complimented my outfit a few times on Feb 13 and 14th, 2026. We really love staying here. Even though our room faced the highway, not a single passing vehicle could be heard.

The kitchen made the room feel like a one-bedroom apartment, and the bathroom was nice too. Good customer service, and it was pet friendly, though I think the pet fee was $35. A good experience.
