Comfort Inn Brighton

We were charged an extra $100 on my card for supposed damage, but they couldn't show any proof. The halls were full of weed smoke, and the hotel felt disgusting and unsafe, like a trap house. Michael Kim, the manager, is obviously running a scam! Choice hotel customer service wouldn't help either. Don't stay here.

For the price, this was a good budget stay, about half what nearby hotels cost. The room showed its age, but it was still cared for, and there was a decent vibe. The general manager checked me in with nothing but kindness and took care of my special requests. Was everything brand new? No. The pool was operational? No. But to me, they do what they can to keep the place nice. I can imagine it's no easy task, and I wouldn't expect a full renovation overnight. It may not suit everyone, but I think it's a good find for someone watching their budget.

The complimentary breakfast may help make up for the last-minute booking, though I'm still waiting to see. The room felt a little overpriced, and the pool was out of order. Check-in, at least, was smooth and easy. Quality Inn Denver Northeast is right beside the railroad, and the station was very active at ??: ?? p.m. The window insulation did nothing to keep the noise out, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep. I hope the place is well insulated in winter. I'll update tomorrow about breakfast. Sweet dreams, and hopefully no bed bugs!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and they checked me in quickly. My room was spacious and clean, though they do ask for a $50 deposit. The complimentary breakfast was awesome, and the location was central, close to Walmart and other stores.
