Rodeway Inn Brighton

We had a nice stay at this very basic place with a basic price, and our room smelled clean and fresh. The office staff were wonderfully friendly, and the cleaning crew were great. My concern is that Ridgeway corporation isn't giving them enough breakfast supplies or support. Rodeway needs to step up before they lose such good staff.

I've been here four days, and the housekeeping staff have been really nice. I have some medical issues, and they were understanding and kind about it. The rooms are very clean, well kept, and quiet, though a bit old fashioned. This is a new location and they're making renovations. For one person it's very affordable, about half the price of the motels nearby. There's truck parking, but check with the hotel about the big-rig rules since I don't know them. Restaurants like Panda Express and McDonald's are within walking distance. A shopping center is about a five-minute walk, and Walmart and other stores are around ten minutes away. No unruly neighbors so far. Great people here, and if I come back to this area, this will be my first choice.

At best, housekeeping is subpar, and the customer service was the worst I've ever run into. We never had more than one clean towel at a time. Norma should go to hospitality school or be moved to the laundry room. Do yourself a favor and skip this rundown motel. Seriously disappointing!

The front desk woman gave my boss a hard time about her certified emotional support animal. The room was unclean too, with blanket stains and a dirty bathroom. We won't book with Rodeway Inn again.
