The Aeolian Residence

The rooms are cozy and the bed was really comfortable. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, and the location is convenient, about a 5min drive from nearby shops and main roads. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and they’ve done a very good job. I strongly recommend it.

Mr Nino, Antonio and Maryangela made us feel at home from the start. Even with the language barrier, Mr Nino offered on our first night to take us to ‘the most beautiful sunset in the world’ and drove us to a magnificent viewpoint. He also drove us to and from town several times, stopping so we could take photos of the sunset. The hillside setting is peaceful, with breathtaking views, and the pool was beautiful and clean. Antonio makes excellent cappuccinos and knows the islands well. He gave us great suggestions for restaurants and day trips. The apartment had excellent facilities, and we stocked up at the supermarket so we could cook some nights. I’m sure this is the best value for money on the island, and I’d highly recommend it. A truly unforgettable stay on a special island.

The neighborhood was quiet, the room had an ensuite bad, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was quick and courteous, the coffee was good, and WiFi worked well. I loved the cool breeze at night.

The owners were really nice. The place is simple, lowkey, and comfortable, with modest accommodations at a great price.
