The room was really spacious and the front desk woman was very sweet. Check-in was easy, and the location was simple to find. The bed was comfortable, and the jetted tub's jets worked great, though the power knob stuck a couple of times. The water kept running a corroded color even after 15 minutes. I scrubbed the tub with bleach water and sprayed bleach into the bath water before getting in. The parking spaces were only about 8 feet wide at best, some smaller, and the lot isn't suitable for trailers.

Evelyn made us feel like valued customers. After nearly 12 hours on the road, we arrived at 1 o'clock in the morning, and I was dreading the usual discussion about my girlfriend's legitimate service animal. Saying I needed a service animal room was easy this time. Check-in took just minutes, and I never felt treated as less of a customer because of what we needed. The rate was terrific, and the service was amazing. The decor is dated, but the room was very clean and had everything we needed: a microwave, refrigerator, cold AC, and even a coffee pot. Well worth the money. Thanks, Evelyn! 😊

The staff were attentive and nice, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. Some areas seem to be getting renovated, and the pool was closed. We loved the Mexican restaurant next door. The main drawbacks were outside the hotel's control: the interstate was loud at times, and a train went by three times during the night, very loudly. Light sleepers might want to stay elsewhere.

Renovation work is underway, and the place is looking nice. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the location just off I-40 is convenient. There's a large indoor pool, but it's drained while construction continues. The shower was decent and the breakfast room was pleasant, though the continental breakfast was pretty limited. For a budget stop in rural Arkansas, it does the job. You can also walk to the Road Ranger gas station for affordable fuel, tech gadgets, treats from The Amish-Buggy company, and Killer Brownies from Ohio.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I liked being right off the highway. Even with the renovation going on, the room was comfortable enough for a night. It's no Ritz, but it worked just fine for me. At $80 a night, especially over Thanksgiving, the price wasn't bad.
