My wife and I planned to go to Bristol for a 40th birthday party, but the party was canceled because of the weather. There was a winter weather advisory all day, with snow, ice, strong winds, and wind chill below 0 degrees. We were trying to stay safe and avoid putting our lives at risk. When I called the front desk, I was told the manager was out for at least a couple of hours preparing for the conditions. Even with that going on, they wouldn't refund our money. I've never felt so little empathy from a hotel. I'm sorry for anyone else who has to deal with this. I'd stay away from this hotel and any sister hotels in the Newport Hotel Group.

Vincent, the GM, made check-in feel welcoming and hospitable from the start, and went out of his way to make the experience special. I had a wonderful stay at the Bristol Harbor Inn. The hotel was great, and the town is quaint and gorgeous. I'd highly recommend staying here when you're in the Bristol area.

I've stayed here many times, and I keep coming back. The waterfront views are gorgeous in every season, and there's amazing coffee right next door and the world's greatest bagels just a few steps farther along. During the Blizzard of 2026, Vincent and his team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable and, dare I say, fun. The rooms were perfect, the hotel spotless, and they were wonderful hosts. It's got the charm of a small-town inn with an elevated feel that makes you know you're somewhere special. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

We had a great view and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms were clean and great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Vincent and Bri were so kind and accommodated our early check-in on Christmas Day. Definitely recommend!

Vincent, the GM, was friendly and accommodating during our short stay. The hotel is clean and well maintained, right on the Bristol waterfront and close to great food and coffee.
