We found Budget Inn Express while looking for somewhere to stay near the casino, and the price was the best around. The room was really clean, restaurants were an easy walk away, and the office staff were very helpful. We'll stay here again next time we visit the casino.

I booked through booking.com and was then told I had to pay a $500 damage deposit in cash. That wasn't mentioned in the booking policy or when I made the reservation. I wouldn't book a room here, and I'll be asking Booking.com and other sites to remove this place from their listings over the hidden fee and what I see as price gouging.

My girlfriend and I came back to New York covered in bedbug bites. We stayed in room 256, which another review also says had bedbugs. The bed and sheets looked disgusting and about ten years old. They quoted $65 over the phone, then charged my card $78, saying Virginia taxes were 20%. This place felt really sketchy. Stay away.

Good price, clean room, and friendly staff. The rooms are dated, so keep that in mind, but I'd recommend it.

The room was clean, but I don't think it was worth $600 for two nights. I booked through Booking.com for the weekend after it said only two rooms were left. A few days later, the listing showed sold out, but the back side of the hotel was nearly empty the first night and had maybe six cars the next. It felt like they were charging everyone inflated prices for the Bristol baseball game. The shower was awful, and I feel like I should get some money back. I won't use Booking.com again.
