Comfort Inn

We stayed three nights for the drag races. After arriving at a different local hotel and finding it pretty rough, we looked for somewhere else, and the Comfort Inn staff found us two rooms at the last minute. Everyone was polite and accommodating. Our room was clean and updated, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which can be a problem at other hotels. The pool and exercise room were great, and the cleaning staff were friendly and did a good job. The only small issue was that a few breakfast trays ran out when it was busy, though they were refilled fairly quickly.

We'd had a few disappointing hotels in the days before this stay, so the Comfort Inn felt like a real treat. The room was clean, with soft, comfortable beds, very cold air conditioning, a seating area, fridge, microwave, and hair dryer. There were plenty of outlets and ports, and the staff handled every question and request. Breakfast had a filling selection for all kinds of eaters. Coffee and lemon water were always available in the lobby, which was a nice extra when our vacation plans got rained out. We'd stay again and look for other Comfort Inns on future trips.

Richard at the front desk was friendly, funny, and very helpful. The inn was being remodeled, but still felt fresh. We had a good stay, though the bed could've been more comfortable. The mattress kept sliding off the box spring when we slept, which was a first for us.

Miss Patty made a great first impression. She switched on the lights, had the door open and the A/C running for us, and asked if I needed help with my mom, who's in a wheelchair. The room was clean and suited us well. Breakfast and coffee were good, and the overnight and morning staff member had a great sense of humor. I wish every hotel we'd stayed at had been like this.
