We’d gladly stay here again. The room and facilities were modern, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was very good. Staff kept everything stocked and were attentive. Hard to beat when passing through Bristol.

We came from the UK on a business trip and booked three rooms. The rooms were clean and practical, and most of the team were great. The breakfast-area manager was amazing, easily worth 55 stars, and Phill was a big help. Andrew, though, came across as abrupt, unapproachable, unhelpful, and unfriendly to all three of us. Other guests I spoke with felt the same way. Owners, we liked the hotel, but you should address the attitude of this customer-facing staff member. The location also made getting around difficult. It’s on a main road, and without a car the hotel isn’t accessible; the shops and restaurants that seem close enough to walk to really aren’t. Getting a cab from here isn’t easy either. Would I recommend staying? Yes, but I might not book again unless I knew some changes had been made.

Breakfast was a small selection of the basics: coffee, juice, eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, and toast. I was grateful they had a gluten-free option when I asked, a couple of Udi's chocolate chip muffins from the back, plus dairy-free milk. The staff were attentive, polite, and professional. We arrived around 10:00 PM on a Wednesday without a reservation, and check-in went smoothly. They offered a government/military rate, which I always appreciate. The room looked neat and modern, though there was no clock, which seems like a basic thing to have. The bed was very comfortable after a day of travel, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. If you’re on the highway side and sensitive to noise, you may hear tractor-trailer jack brakes at random during the night. I’d absolutely recommend it and stay again.

The staff were so friendly, and the whole place was spotless. We chose this Fairfield for a two-night concert trip because of the price, and it turned out better than expected. Someone mentioned it had been renovated about a year ago, and our clean room really did feel new. We were upgraded to a suite-style room with a big living area. I love having that much room to spread out, and the bathroom was large too. There are restaurants and shops across the interstate, and downtown is only a short drive away. I’d stay here again, 10/10.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were good. The hotel is well kept, as you’d expect from a Marriott. Just be aware that it sits beside Interstate 81, between that and another busy four-lane road. We were in room 424, and all the even-numbered rooms face the interstate, so there’s traffic noise. Getting into the hotel from the highway can also feel intimidating. There’s no light or stop sign at the entrance, and you have to cross a busy two-lane road to reach any of the three hotels along that narrow strip. They really need a traffic light there.
