Knights Inn Bristol

I’ve been staying at this hotel for two months and had already posted a review. This update adds another star because the staff have gone out of their way to help me. I recently left the hospital and still can’t walk completely normally. They keep carrying my bags upstairs, and the front desk woman is friendly and very accommodating.

When you’re in a bind, the hotel isn’t bad, though it’s not the best. The rooms are clean, the front desk staff are nice, and housekeeping is pretty thorough. There are a lot of homeless people around, but they seem friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is horrible, the shower curtains are moldy and need changing, and the television is awful. It freezes around 50 times during a single show, and I’m not exaggerating.

We left first thing in the morning because the place was so dirty and smelled awful. We’d arrived late and couldn’t go to another hotel, but the photos don’t show how bad it is. The first room had hair and a really dirty bed. The walls and stairs were dirty too. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Owners, please clean the hotel for your customers’ well-being. Nobody should have to stay in a place like this.

I’ve come here every year for about four years, and our room has always been clean. One year we added a couple of days to our stay and got a discount. I’ve seen the bad reviews, but I’ve never had a problem myself, so I’ll keep coming back.
