The neighborhood around William’s Grant Inn is quaint, and the house has been kept in remarkable shape. I knew I'd picked well as soon as I arrived. There were fresh warm cookies waiting, along with a very inviting bed. Breakfast deserves a mention too: I'd drive seven hours just for their homemade yogurt!

Elizabeth and Doug were wonderful hosts, and Elizabeth's breakfasts were amazing. We spent four nights at William's Grant Inn B&B and had a great time. The rooms have lots of charm. If you're after a cozy, charming stay, this is the place.

Doug and Elizabeth know the area so well, and their suggestions made our visit even better. We went to Blithewold Manor, which is a must-see, and Doug's “reviews” led us to the Herreshoff Marine Museum, full of amazing wooden boats and much more. Elizabeth recommended a tiny Italian restaurant where we had a delicious dinner in a special atmosphere. The inn is well placed for Bristol's museums, restaurants, shops, and grand old homes, and its garden is a relaxing spot. We stayed three nights in this charming historic home, clearly cared for with love. The innkeepers couldn't have been more hospitable, and every morning they served a generous, delicious breakfast of eggs, sausage, yogurt, granola, fruit, sweet rolls, coffee, and juice. We were very happy with our choice.

We came for a road race at Mt. Hope Farm and had a delightful stay at this lovely B&B. The historic property was in immaculate shape, and the hosts clearly care about the details. It's well located for exploring downtown or riding the East Bay Bike Trail.
