Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Brockton/Easton

For my birthday, I had a quick stay at The Residence Inn. It was ideally located for getting onto the highway and visiting Boston and the surrounding area. Ashely and Elani were the best part of the visit. They were professional and truly caring, which made the stay feel more personal. If I’m back in the area, I’d stay here for their 5-star service.

My 19-year-old brother arrived on 1/09/26 after traveling and was told he couldn’t check in because of the hotel’s 21+ age policy. We accepted the policy, but the way things went after that is why I’m complaining. It was freezing outside and he wasn’t feeling well, but the man at the front desk wouldn’t let him wait inside the lobby while his Uber was on the way. I called and explained that he was unwell and only needed to stay indoors briefly until his ride arrived. They still said he couldn’t remain inside. He was monitored to make sure he left, and the only options suggested were going outside or calling an ambulance or the police. For a Marriott-branded property to send a young traveler into freezing weather instead of allowing a short, supervised wait in a public lobby is deeply concerning for safety and customer care. We were told a refund would be issued, and I’m monitoring that, but the complaint is about the lack of reasonable discretion, compassion, and basic care in this situation. My brother did say his female counterpart was more accommodating, but she didn’t speak up while it was happening.

Housekeeping kept our room clean and lovely, and the breakfast staff were friendly and kept the offerings in good shape. The front desk team welcomed us and handled what we needed with real care. Management clearly sets a good example, because the whole staff made our stay comfortable and made the place feel like a home away from home. The Residence Inn Brockton/Easton felt safe and secure for families and individuals alike, and it was great value for the money. Highly recommend!

A fire scare broke out on about the second or third floor while my boyfriend and I were staying here. The security guard was right on it, alerting guests and getting everyone safely downstairs. Other guests weren’t happy about being disturbed, but we were so grateful for how quickly he acted. I lost my father and niece in a fire in 2022, so I know how fast fires can spread and how seriously they need to be taken. When we checked out, my boyfriend and I felt grateful and reassured to be leaving safely. Grateful to live another day. #GOD is GOOD, and so is the entire staff at Residence Inn. Thank you!
