We drove down from MN to see family and booked at the last minute after the hotel we'd originally picked turned out to be a complete dump. I wish we'd booked here from the start. We got great service from the front desk, the bar, and housekeeping, from check-in through checkout. We asked for a first-floor room so taking our dog out would be easier, and the only one available was a handicap room. It worked perfectly. The room was spacious, clean, and, most of all, comfortable. Water sprayed outside the shower a bit and got the floor wet, but an extra towel let us manage fine and avoid slipping when we got out. We'll definitely book here again on a future visit.

The worst part of the stay was the shower. There was no hot water, and when I told the front desk, they said I should have called to report it. That seems unrealistic when you're already naked in the shower. So I took a cold shower in a first-world country in 2026. The hotel itself was clean and well built, and the service was decent. Nothing felt run down, and the stay started fine. Breakfast was underwhelming, with few options. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was special either, and a nearby restaurant would probably be better value. The service felt disorganized, with the chef making omelets and a separate order menu making the process confusing. Communication was sometimes difficult because of broken English, which didn't help. It's fine if you just need a clean place to sleep, but the weak breakfast and hot-water problem fell short of what I expect from a Hilton brand property.

We waited an hour for our food, and all the while we could hear kitchen staff saying the Alfredo sauce and pasta were in the microwave. Seriously, microwave pasta for more than twenty dollars? My husband ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and a side salad. I got the veggie Alfredo primavera with steak and a side salad. The two side salads cost $15 each, and we shared one small cup of dressing. The total was $115, which wouldn't be bad if the food weren't absolutely disgusting. We were the only customers in the in-house restaurant. We've been Hilton Honors members for years. Do better, Hilton!

The room felt like a very basic hotel room, with no decor or features that stood out. We usually enjoy staying at Hilton Garden Inn, but this visit fell short, and it's our last stay here. Breakfast is advertised as a $15 hot buffet, but without meat or protein included, it doesn't really meet the standard of a buffet. Protein costs another $4. We understood the prices and, as Hilton Honors Gold Members, expected our food and beverage credit to help, but the service made things worse. It took from 9:19 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. to get two sunny-side-up eggs. When they finally arrived, they were cold and completely undercooked, basically raw. If you're looking for a consistently better experience, this isn't the place.

The rooms are clean and the staff are nice, but this place is pretty pricey compared with hotels that include breakfast. I also just found out they stop providing guest coffee after 10:30 a.m., which is insane for a hotel. The shower takes about 30 minutes to get warm enough to use. I don't even know whether the sink gets hot because I haven't run it long enough to find out. I've told them about the hot-water issue for over a year, and apparently they don't care enough to fix it. Since I can't reply to the owners' response, I'm editing this. Is your reply a joke? I know I can pay for breakfast, but not providing coffee or even other hot water is insane. You didn't address the lack of hot water at all. How can you expect people to stay here without hot water? Maybe that's why you don't offer coffee all day, because you don't have hot water to make it. I'll definitely book somewhere else for future travel.
