Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Broken Bow

The only bright spot was the very nice, apologetic young woman at the front desk. There was no way we could stay, so we were grateful the hotel next door had vacancies. We were shocked when we arrived. The pool was the smallest in-ground one we've ever seen, and maintenance around the building was badly neglected. The landscaping looked like it hadn't been done in a long time. There were no signs showing where to enter, so we drove around the side, thinking the front wasn't the entrance. It was the only entrance. There's no elevator, just two flights of stairs, and no website had mentioned that. There were no luggage carts either, and one wouldn't have helped with those stairs. We'd reserved a suite, but what we got wasn't a suite at all. The room was hot, smelled bad, and the bed was full-size, not the queen listed. The kitchenette looked like it was from 1970 and was tiny. The air conditioner had been set to 78 degrees. The front desk said the place had just been bought and they were working on needed improvements, but it felt like everything needed to be redone. This isn't up to Wyndham standards. We use Wyndham hotels all the time in Texas.

12-12-25 My family and I checked in after I had worked here in Broken Bow. At 12:30 a.m. we woke to mice and ladybugs all over the room. My wife went to the front desk, and they offered only another room down the other hall. That's highly unprofessional and unacceptable for a hotel. They charge four-star prices for one-star accommodations. I won't stay here again, and I think the place should be shut down. The one good part was the girl who checked us in. She was incredibly nice and welcoming.

We're a trucking company and used this place for the first time. They have truck parking, and the front desk staff were easy and quick to work with. It was a very good first experience, and we'll use them again.

We were so appalled by this hotel that we didn't stay, and we lost the $140. The room smelled like wet dogs, the bathroom was gross, and we couldn't get the TV cable to work. It was the worst experience we've ever had. We were flabbergasted.
