Holiday Inn Express Cleveland Airport - Brookpark by IHG

We were so happy with our stay at Holiday Inn Express Cleveland Airport. We needed one night near the airport and I was nervous, but Rish checked us in smoothly and the room was clean, warm, and spacious. We had dinner at Bob Evan’s, then got a comfy bed and a quiet night with 11 hours of sleep. Lisa served a full breakfast with omelets, meats, biscuits and gravy, fresh coffee, fruit, and plenty more. Karish kindly checked us out and confirmed our free airport shuttle. There was fresh coffee in the lobby all day.

The best part is how accommodating and friendly everyone who works there is. We needed an ice scraper for the car, to use their freezer overnight, fresh sheets, and help printing something from my phone. Every time, no problem. The price is right, too, and we're done with boutique hotels when we're in Cleveland. Once we found the Holiday Inn Express on Snow Rd in Brook Park, it became our regular place. It's close to I-71, I-480, and the airport, and it's very clean, with roomy rooms and warm showers with good pressure. Amenities include a mini-fridge, blackout shades, wifi, an iron, hair-blower, charging ports, wheeled carts, ice, and filtered water. The included daily breakfast is better than any other hotel breakfast we've had: a good selection that's kept stocked and warm, tasty little omelettes, meats, and especially potatoes. The dining area is comfortable and continually cleaned. Delicious coffee with fresh cream is available 24-7 from a machine that grinds the beans for each cup.

The back staircase could use a vacuum, but our room was clean and the staff were friendly. We appreciated the continental breakfast, though we'd have liked more bacon. There was bacon on only one day. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cleveland.

The pool was out of service, so I missed the chance to swim once or twice during my five days there. At $150 per night, that felt a bit high without a pool or Jacuzzi. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay while my sister and I visited family. The room was good, and housekeeping cleaned it when we asked. Breakfast was okay, with enough of the usual choices, and the dining area had plenty of space. Parking was good. I'd recommend it if you want to stay near the airport.
