Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee Brookfield

Clean, nice hotel with good staff and food options nearby. The rates are reasonable too. This was my first stay, but I’ll put it at the top of my list when I travel to Milwaukee.

It’s right in the heart of Brookfield, but despite being near the interstate, it didn’t feel like a sketchy area. I could walk to a shopping center, park, and trail system for running and biking. Downtown Waukesha, where I attended a wedding, was about 15 minutes away. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Nice hotel and the beds are good, but the pool is unusable for us. It’s advertised as heated, yet it’s the coldest pool we’ve ever tried. My son and I managed only a few minutes before his lips turned blue and we had to get out. We’ve stayed three times over the past one to two years, and it’s been the same each visit.

The hotel may not be the fanciest, and staying here can mean going a bit out of my way, but I choose it whenever I’m in the area because of Jeffrey, the Night Auditor. He’s upbeat, dependable, professional, and consistently makes things easy for guests. As a local business owner, I appreciate people who take pride in their work, and he’s exactly the kind of employee a company hopes to have. The hotel should recognize him for Employee of the Month and consider giving him a bonus. I’ve stayed at many hotels across the Midwest, and the service here stands out. Jeffrey’s reliability and genuine care make this Fairfield a place I return to.
