The bathroom setup was the biggest problem. The walk-in shower is nice, but its head points toward the opening, so water gets all over the floor. We tried adjusting it and still ended up splashing water out while showering. The photo I took showing the wet floor was after we'd tried mopping it up. There's no bathroom vent, either, and the light switch is awkwardly placed. You have to step into the dark and start closing the door before you can turn on the light. Why? We were here for a wedding and stayed two nights. The room was clean and quiet, though the front desk staff seemed not to want to be there, and we only saw them at check-in and check-out. The pillows were small and square, which was new to me. Breakfast was okay for a standard included hot breakfast, but the dining area was really loud.

The staff made this a wonderful stay. They know their stuff, are understanding, and are ready to help with whatever comes up. I highly recommend staying here in Brookings, South Dakota.

The pool and hot tub were great for unwinding, and the room layout and bathroom were excellent. The beds were clean and looked well kept. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially with large groups. A great stay.

We can walk to campus from here, and there are good places nearby for a walk. The hotel is clean and the coffee is great. We've stayed several times while our son has been attending SD State University. Highly recommend.
