Perennial Vacation Club at Eagles` Nest

The rooms have stunning views, and it’s only a five-minute walk down to the Stagecoach lift for Heavenly. The bar is fantastic and quaint, the whole establishment is adorable, and the staff are amazing. This is the best place I’ve ever stayed in Tahoe. Not a single complaint, a must book if you’re visiting.

It’s quiet, with a breathtaking view of Gardnerville, Minden, and the Valley, and being by the Stagecoach lift is great in winter. I’ve stayed at the Perrenial Vacation Club for years, usually in the Hideaway. The Hideaway and Pineview rooms can feel a little cramped, but they’re still nice, with three beds, a small bathroom, and a kitchen. The downside is that getting to the main lodge, Eagles Nest, means looping all the way around Tramway Drive if you need something. Usually it’s not a big deal.

Already missing this place and would come back in summer. The room had a chic, cozy style and all the cooking equipment we needed. Great for a family or couple vacation, with an ideal ski location, about a ten-minute walk to Heavenly ski.

I had a two-bedroom room and enjoyed my stay. The only issue was that the beds felt a little stiff. Everything was clean when I arrived and worked properly. The location is convenient for south lake Tahoe, about a ten-minute drive from the casinos. Everyone was pleasant and felt like a perfect host, there when needed but never hovering. I’ll stay again.
