Budget Plaza Motel

The room was decent, and they supplied towels and soap. I didn’t use the TV, fridge, or microwave. The outlet was damaged and a little too close to the bed, and both the sink faucet and toilet were loose. People told me the area was sketchy, but I didn’t see anything that concerned me. It’s a cheap room, so for the price, you get what you pay for.

The room was huge, the staff were friendly, service was fine, and the location worked well for what I needed. There was old stuff left in the fridge, and soap residue on the holder in the bathroom. I didn’t take pictures of that since, at this price, I wasn’t expecting much different. One annoyance was children running back and forth on my floor all day.

The rooms were clean, and the rest of the staff were good. But on my last stay, the woman at the desk with light skin was extremely rude and had an uncalled-for attitude. I used to stay here every week when I came to town, but I won’t be back.

I only needed a room to shower, sleep, and catch my breath after a rough stretch. I know this isn’t a good place, but if they’re licensed to operate a hotel, they should follow the law and treat customers like people. I booked through Best Hotel Deals Global and had my reservation number. My girl’s license was expired, so I tried to use mine, since it was my card and my name was on the charge. The manager said he couldn’t add me and told me to call the booking company. I did, got an email, and went back. He said, “SORRY MAME, THEY HAVEN'T CALLED, I CAN'T HELP YOU.” I called the company again and put their representative on speaker. She verified the details, and I told the manager the email said the ticket was open to add my name. Even though it was my card and my name on the charge, he still wouldn’t add me. The representative said she could ask partners for a refund if the manager agreed. He agreed while she was listening, but I still haven’t gotten my money back and Best Hotel Deals Global keeps giving me the runaround. I told the manager everything had been scammed and stolen from me three weeks earlier, but he wouldn’t budge, and now the money was scammed again. I’m not sure, but if the third party I booked with is a scam and he works with them, is he and the hotel running a scam? Please help, and don’t stay here or book through Best Hotel Deals Global. SCAM.
