Extended Stay America Cleveland - Brooklyn

We stayed in neighboring rooms on the second floor from June 23 to July 1, and the evening desk agent greeted us so warmly, a wonderful young man. We were very pleased with the stay. With this location and all the nearby amenities, management has a lot to build on. There’s great potential here, possibly even for a flagship location. Are you hearing the heartfelt messages from me and other guests?

Verizon and I spent 45 minutes on the phone securing my account while someone was changing its details. Luckily they stopped the order and locked the account, and I have all the emails as proof. A hotel employee took my email address and phone number from the customer screen and used them to order a new iPhone from Verizon, shipped to the hotel. That’s a serious issue. The only employees who’d have access to personal information are the front desk or the GM.

I stayed at the Brooklyn hotel with my family for a month while looking for permanent housing. The hallways smelled very clean, with no smoke at all. The staff were helpful, wonderful, and truly compassionate. Our family has four children with autism, which can bring challenges, and Alyse, the general manager, treated my kids with respect and real kindness. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel.

The location looks promising, and the rooms are mostly clean. I’ve seen hair on shower walls, some rooms have an unpleasant smell, and noise from rooms above can carry. One woman at the front desk seemed more focused on chomping and popping gum than helping. She was rude, inconsiderate, and, frankly, incompetent.
