Super 8 by Wyndham Brookville

Kathy at the front desk was so kind and helped calm me down when I had to stop unexpectedly because a winter storm made driving unsafe. I was traveling alone with my dogs, and the hotel, parking lot, and area around it all felt safe. It’s right off the interstate, and the price was affordable. The place could use some updating, but it was clean and worked well for us.

Clean room, good food, and hot coffee, all for the best price I found. I came across the Brookfield Inn on my map while passing through, and I’m glad I stopped. Benny went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. The service was wonderful, and for what I paid, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ll definitely stop at the Brookfield Inn again.

Benny was very nice when he helped me at the front desk. The room was basic and dated, but for the price, that’s what you get. It had clean sheets and no bugs, and I wasn’t expecting anything fancy. There was a smell in the room, maybe from the old chair, the old paint, or the carpet. I have asthma, but it didn’t bother me, and it didn’t smell like stale smoke. Opening the window helped. After a 12-hour drive, I just needed a place to sleep for the night. Nothing exciting happened, but nothing bad did either.

Cathy helped me a lot when I arrived. She went out of her way to ask her higher-ups about changing my departure time, then got back to me right away once it was approved. Benny was helpful at checkout this morning, too, and let me know there was complimentary breakfast. I hadn’t realized it was available on Saturday, so I ate before heading out bear hunting instead. The place was very clean and comfortable, and I’d recommend it. Thanks to the staff, I really appreciated the help. Have a great day.
