Renaissance Boulder FlatIron Hotel

Our daughter celebrated her birthday with friends here, and the excellent service, clean and nice rooms, and fair value made it a wonderful stay. Andrea in reservations helped me get an early check-in, then arranged a little treat in the room and a restaurant gift card after hearing it was for a birthday party. The late-night lava cakes made the girls feel like queens. Thank you, Renaissance!

I arrived at 11pm expecting to leave at 5:30am, only to find the entire building was without water due to maintenance. There were no working toilets, showers, or sinks, and nobody could offer any compensation beyond bottles of water. I hadn’t received any notice about the outage. I’d also arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered two hours before I arrived and had told the front desk in advance. When I got there, they couldn’t find it, even though the delivery driver provided photos showing it had been delivered.

We booked a block of rooms here for our wedding weekend, and both my guests and I had a wonderful experience. Andrea Chinchilla, the group rooms coordinator, deserves a lot of credit for answering my many questions, finding a space for breakfast with the wedding party, and helping me feel confident in our choice. The location is perfect, with sweeping mountain views, and the rooms are modern, stunning, and clean. The lobby and restaurant were lovely too, and everyone at the front desk was kind and personable. I didn’t expect to hear so much positive feedback about the hotel. Thanks again for everything!

The room was nice, but mine had crumbs on the floor and an empty body wash. The most disappointing part was learning that Titanium members don’t get breakfast with their stay. The front desk employee told me I could buy something at the coffee shop, pay for the buffet, or go without. Who says that to a guest? I asked why I usually receive breakfast vouchers, since I’ve stayed at this Renaissance several times before. They offered to exchange some of my Bonvoy points for a voucher, deducting the points from my account. I used to recommend this hotel to colleagues, but it’s gone downhill, and I’ll have to rethink where I stay if this is how guests are treated.
