TownePlace Suites by Marriott Boulder Broomfield/Interlocken

There wasn't extra bedding for the sofa bed, and the shower temperature kept shifting, so I had to adjust it constantly. Music from the neighboring room was so loud that I banged on their door hard enough to hurt my hand. I called the front desk too, but the music kept going. Breakfast was a big reason I booked here. At check-in I was told it was no longer included, even though the email I'd received beforehand said hot breakfast was included. It felt like a bait and switch, and it makes me question staying at other Marriott properties.

The location is very convenient, and the two men at reception were really friendly. Still, I was disappointed. The towels and sofa were dirty, there's no central heat, and we got no room service at all. I switched hotels at the last minute expecting a Marriott to be better. If location matters most, it works, but if you can spend a bit more, try the Homewoods 😉 The management was terrible. They advertise a free hot breakfast but barely had coffee. On Christmas Day, after guests complained, they served hot breakfast. Then they said there'd be none for the rest of the week because they'd served it that day and the owner had gone on vacation without preparing anything for guests. So much for planning.

This may be the worst Marriott stay I've had. It was old and dirty throughout, the elevator barely seemed to work, the carpets were gross, and the baseboards were broken. The toilets seemed sized for infants. There are a few other Marriott options nearby that I'd choose instead.

The suites are hard to find from the road, and fresh towels weren't brought to us. They'd also stopped serving breakfast, which our kids really liked. We loved how much space the room had compared with some other hotel chains. There were two bedrooms, plus a living room with a sofa, chair, and large TV, and each bedroom had its own TV. No arguing about what to watch!
