The owners and the person who checked us in were polite and helpful. We also had a good time connecting with the other guests and helping each other out. The dogs were friendly, too. Think of it like tent camping: the tipi was comfortable, and sitting by the fire was relaxing. There’s a nice breakfast spot indoors or out, with self-serve amenities, and the showers were warm and clean. We brought no camping gear, just warm clothes for sleeping. It got down to 39 that night, so we slept in a couple of layers. If you haven’t slept in weather like that, a stocking cap makes a big difference. We rebuilt the fire early in the morning to warm up a little.

The stay was lovely and the place is quiet because there’s nothing else around. The room has a heater for cold weather, a sofa, a table, and a small porch where you can watch the sunset. Bathrooms were very clean, and they provide towels, soap, and shampoo. There’s also a little kitchen with a microwave, fridge, plates, and glasses. The downside is that the shared bathrooms are outside, so you have to walk over, and it gets really cold. They do mention the shared bathrooms in the description.

A quiet, clean, peaceful little cabin with a great porch for reading and views that stretch for miles across the prairie. There’s a shared fridge, microwave, grill, toaster, coffee maker, and more. I’d recommend visiting the Museum of the Plains Indian down the street.

Our family of five stayed here with kids aged 9, 7, and 2, and we had a great experience. The spacious tipis gave us shelter from the elements, and the bathrooms, showers, and dining area were nice to have. It’s a distinctive and more affordable choice for anyone staying on Glacier’s east side.

I’m on the porch taking in an amazing view of the prairie, lake, and Rocky Mountains. This is a lovely way to try something different and be close to nature. You sleep in a tepee, but there are plenty of comforts: very clean showers, a nice room to sit and relax, a kitchen with a coffee machine and mini fridge, tables for cooking and eating, free Wi-Fi, and great hosts. There are also two sweet, friendly cats. The art gallery has lots of beautiful Native Indian objects, along with books and magazines to read. We travel and camp a lot, and this is the best place I’ve ever camped.
