The family suite worked perfectly for our trip to a family celebration, and it was handy being close to the hall and relatives’ homes. Lorena and her staff were attentive and easy to talk to. I was especially happy with breakfast: the refried beans and homemade salsas were delicious. We’ll be back soon.

Dalia makes a great breakfast, and the kitchen staff are always cheerful. Evenings feel warm and welcoming too. Brownsville La Quinta has been a lovely place to stay.

The hotel was very clean, but we had loud noise from the room above all night and into the morning. It sounded like remodeling or something. For over a hundred dollars a night, that wasn’t cool. I’d also like to see sugar-free syrup offered.

I keep coming back to this La Quinta. The staff provide five-star service, and the location puts just about everything nearby, from Walmart across the street and Target down the road to plenty of places to eat. I also like unwinding in the hot tub after a long day, and the pool is refreshing. Breakfast is better than what you’ll find at many hotels. Highly recommend it.

The food was great, and I liked the in-room Keurig, Dove soap and shampoos, and the fancy blankets. Housekeeping did full daily service, the way it used to be before Covid. I was there for Christmas and really enjoyed the decorations. The place also looks clean, modern, and updated.
