Comfort Suites Golden Isles Gateway

The women at the front desk were very nice, and the $110 price was actually lower than the online quote, but this place should have cost much less. It's dated and musty. The room itself smelled okay, but there was hair on the sheets and along the shower edge, and the shower hadn't been cleaned. The table between the beds was filthy, the bathroom sink didn't work, and the old carpet was dirty. There are several hotels nearby, so pay a little more for a decent one.

The pictures don't match the rooms. Shower pressure was barely there, and the elevator stayed out of service for my whole visit. They did call to tell me it wasn't working. When I asked them to cancel the reservation on their end so I could get a full refund, they said they couldn't do that.

We've stayed here a number of times before and plan to return in September. The double room was excellent, clean, and comfortable, and the shower worked very well. The staff are friendly too. Hope to see you again soon.

A bit worn and showing its age, but still not a bad place. We slept comfortably, breakfast was hot and good, and it was pretty quiet. The hallway air conditioners weren't working, though the one in our room was fine. The woman handling check-in at night was pleasant and accommodating. I'd return.
