Bryant Inn & Suites

My husband took care of check-in, and that part went smoothly. We’d been in the room for about an hour when two men arrived next door and started standing right outside our room, playing loud Spanish music on their phones and smoking marijuana. We knew they were drinking beer and using drugs, so I went to the front desk to try to keep things under control. The woman there said she’d talk to them, but then she knocked on my door to complain about how I’d parked. It felt like the drugs mattered less than my parking. She eventually told the men not to use drugs, but they responded by cursing and threatening us. They said they’d been doing this every day for two weeks until my family came along and disrupted things. I had my minor child with me, and the smell was coming through the air unit and around our door. We had to put up with it until after 11 pm. I’d already been driving for two days and needed sleep. If you’re travelling with children, I really wouldn’t recommend this place.

After a long, rough first day of moving, that hot shower with great water pressure loosened all our knots. My partner and I had been on the road since 8 the previous morning and needed to stop around 9-10 am, so I called places to ask about availability and an early check-in. This was one of the few that allowed it. We had our cat along. There was a pet fee, but it was reasonable, and not many places nearby take cats. The bed was soft, and the staff were understanding and accommodating. Thanks so much, Bryant Inn staff! We’ll recommend you to anyone we know travelling through the area.

The room smelled horrible, with a huge area of mold above the bathroom toilet. We also found bed bugs. We were in room 115, while work upstairs, right above us and the kids, was loud 24/7. Disgusting. I booked two days online for $156, but after check-in there were so many fees and excuses that the total became $262. We left early. I didn’t even try to argue for a refund because it was clear I wouldn’t get anywhere. Stay clear of this place.

I freaking love this place! The owners are awesome, the keepers are attentive to guests and what they need, and the rooms are superb. They’re remodeling, too. Whenever I’m in Bryant, I’ll stay here.
