I paid for the room in full with my debit card through hotels.com, but when I arrived they said there was no reservation in my name. I spoke with the owner, who said they don't accept debit cards online and told me I'd have to pay with a credit card. I said I'd already paid. He refused to rent me a room and told me to leave. Now neither hotels.com nor the hometown hotel will return my money. I had to go to Benton Arkansas to find a room. I feel like I got scammed.

I've stayed here twice with my dog, and the stays themselves were cozy. But the breakfast is awful, and after drinking some apple juice my whole esophagus felt irritated. I can't say for sure what caused it, but it was unpleasant. They also kept both of my $100 deposits, even though I left the place just as I found it. I won't be back. This hotel needs to go.

I booked a room for a worker, but when we arrived they demanded extra payment. They wouldn't honor the reservation, and when we refused to pay more, they said they wouldn't refund the money. The property was visibly dirty and badly in need of renovation. I found the whole experience deeply dishonest. Don't trust this place or the other reviews. Stay somewhere nearby instead.

The new staff and management couldn't find the reservation I made online at supper.com last night. Then they wouldn't take my debit card for the deposit because they required a credit card, and I don't have one. My husband had to pay for a second reservation that cost more than we planned. Check-in took a full hour, and I'm still waiting for the refund on my online booking and for the receipt I need to get that refund. We were also accused of taking their things. Check the cameras: I took MY STUFF with me when I left for work that morning, thank you very much. Such petty people. Nice hotel, terrible management. 10/10 do not recommend. Don't stay here or book online.
