Universal Hard Rock Hotel

The staff were super nice, polite, and helpful, and the DJ was great at getting the kids involved. They loved that. The water taxi is right there and convenient, and walking is easy too. The bus was easy to get to. I also appreciated the unlimited passes for the two parks. The rooms felt dated and small, with no balcony and a motel feel. The pool was hot and shallow, not relaxing, and the slide's current made it feel like a wave pool. With nothing blocking off the slide, kids kept getting in front of it or being pulled toward it. The food was overpriced for its quality. For the price, this wouldn't be my top hotel choice for the room. Next time I'd try another hotel with the same pass benefit.

We've stayed here twice now, and we like the Rock Level enough to feel it's worth it. It's a short walk or boat ride to city walk, which is fantastic if you're visiting the Universal Parks. The hotel is very clean, the pool area is great, and the staff are friendly. There's a good vibe for both adults and kids.

I'm a big Taylor Swift fan, so seeing the huge portrait as soon as I came through the door almost made me cry. My boyfriend and I had the best time. The staff were kind and the pool was really great. The restaurant was really, really good, but pricey, definitely $$$$. Love it here, great for couples and music lovers!

The path to the parks was the most convenient part for us. It has lovely landscaping and is well lit at night. The rooms were clean, and the beds and pillows were perfect. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing, and my kids loved the waterslide. Our stay was fantastic!
