I would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Augusta. I liked being close to I-20 and the Army base. I enjoyed breakfast each day, with plenty to choose from and a waffle machine, though more fruit like bananas would’ve been nice. The manager was very friendly, and you can tell she loves dogs. I stayed seven nights last week, and this was the nicest Laquinta Inn and Suites I’ve been to. It had recently been remodeled, and my suite was clean and really impressed me. Frank went above and beyond when I had TV trouble, coming to my room to set up both televisions. One remote has to be on vs2, then the cable remote changes the channels. The reason I didn’t give five stars was repeated trouble with my key card. Maintenance had to change the battery before it was finally resolved. There was also a water leak one day, so there was no water for longer than expected, but that was beyond their control.

The rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed here countless nights while my husband was stationed at fort gordon for training, and each stay has been a pleasure. Having a nearby place that’s reliably clean, affordable, and available has meant a lot to us. For me, this is a five-star hotel. The negative reviews feel like nitpicking. If you just want somewhere safe, clean, and affordable to sleep, this is a perfect fit. Thanks, La Quinta staff.

Housekeeping didn’t rush us out or keep knocking before checkout, which was nice. The room was quiet and had great AC, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I checked carefully and didn’t find any bugs. I really enjoyed staying here.

We had a suite with two queen beds, and it was handy having two TVs. Someone could relax in the bedroom while the others watched in the front room. The water was hot, and they had bacon at Saturday breakfast. I had three helpings! We had dogs with us, and all the staff were really nice to them. A great hotel stay.

The hotel seemed decent until a bag of clothes went missing after room service. Management wasn’t available over the weekend and did nothing to return the items or refund us.
