Bryson City has a lot of charm, and it’s handy to have a full-size grocery store nearby too. The location also makes it easy to reach Great Smoky Mountains park, the train, and Deep Creek Three Waterfall hiking trail, which is under 10 minutes away. That hike is peaceful and not too difficult, definitely recommend it. We only stayed for a quick weekend at first, but liked the cabin enough to book a whole week for Spring Break. We looked at a few other cabins while there. If you want a view, the driveway is about average, and at least the road leading to it is paved, unlike the others we saw.

Getting up the access road takes a bit of care, but the cabin itself is beautiful, perched on a hill with an incredible view. It has three full bedrooms, plus a little game room in the loft and a sleeper sofa, so a large group can stay comfortably. It’s well stocked with amenities, including a washer and dryer and a dishwasher.

We had a girls' getaway from Sept 11th through the 14th. The cabin was beautiful and very clean, had all the amenities we could ask for, and was in a great spot for getting to Bryson City.
