Hike, Fish & Relax: Bryson City Cabin Escape

We saw elk on nearly every day of our stay, often passing by the cabin at dawn or dusk. Mornings on the grounds were beautiful, with peaceful mountain views wrapped in mist. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable, an easy place to unwind. Bryson City and Cherokee are only minutes away, so getting out to explore was simple. Ela Shores Cabins is well worth recommending, and we'll be back.

We hardly left the property, just twice. Most of the time we cooked, enjoyed the scenery, spent time by the river each day, and had a fire on several nights. The location is awesome, and the grounds were in amazing shape even after the hurricane flooding. Fresh gravel had just been laid, thanks to Keith, an incredible groundskeeper. Highly recommend it.

I'm so happy I picked this cabin. It was cozy and clean, and food and stores were easy to get to. The staff were great and easy to reach. Waking up to that view every morning was absolutely breathtaking.

We stayed in riverfront cabin #13 and loved the beautiful, convenient location, especially for motorcyclists. The bed and couch were comfortable, the interior was clean, and the AC worked great. We'll come back.
