The clerk was kind and gave us a brochure with useful information, including nearby places to eat. We were grateful for the hospitality. We’d ended up needing a place after our truck broke down, and this small hotel nearby had what we needed to rest comfortably. The bed and blankets were clean, as was the bathroom, and there was a small kitchen. Parking was plentiful, with room for a semi-truck.

There isn’t much food or much else nearby, but this is a clean motel that seems well run. If you’re partway through a trip and need a place to stop, it does the job just fine. Four stars from me, though I’m not calling it a four-star hotel.

The location is good, but the place itself is run-down and smelled awful. The kitchen and bathroom were really sticky, and visitors aren’t allowed.

I was there for about two weeks, and only three people were staying there during that time. The owner had made a cash deal with me, then wanted to raise the price when I was planning to stay for a couple of months 🙃. I couldn’t understand the reason. Maybe the owners (cartel) didn’t want me there...

There was dirt covering everything, electrical hazards around the room, and power strips glued to the wall. I was also charged double the room rate as a non-refundable deposit. Then I found two dead cockroaches on the bathroom floor, followed by three more live ones as the night went on. Tinfoil over the windows was just the start. This is the most disgusting property I’ve ever been to. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car or on a stranger’s couch instead.
