Maysville Manor Bed & Breakfast

Sharing the whole house with 25-30 other people and only 2.5 bathrooms was a lot. We stayed three nights this past week, and the garden room on the upper west side was around 80 degrees during very hot weather. There was one fan, so I had to buy another, and the windows wouldn't open. Towels weren't replenished until our last day, either. I also didn't know about any continental breakfast. Wouldn't recommend this place.

We spent two nights here over Christmas, and this is now our go-to place in Buckingham County. The Manor has so much charm, and we loved the experience. It's a wonderful historic B&B with an easy-to-access location. Management was responsive and accommodating, too. Highly recommend.

We booked late in the evening on a whim, and the owner was kind and able to help us out. The house is beautiful, with what I think are period furnishings. Super cool place to stay, really.

There were a few things I wish the listing had explained better. WiFi only reached the kitchen, and the room had a very small TV with just two channels and two chairs. The continental breakfast was two boxes of children's cereal with milk, a handful of Keurig pods, and orange and grape juice. The two full bathrooms and one half bath are shared by as many as 12-13 guests. The Manor is charming and clean, and dates back to 1815, but most guest rooms are up steep, narrow stairs, so contact the proprietor first if stairs are difficult. There is a guest room on the first level. I walked around the property but apparently missed the pool.
