The rate was reasonable, and I was really happy with our stay. The staff were extremely friendly, and the clean, comfortable rooms are pet friendly too. There are a few things to see nearby, including the Johnathan Buck memorial and the coolest bridge around, with the tallest observatory within 10 minutes. Out back, a string of lights makes the area feel especially cute. I’d stay here again.

I loved how clean everything was, and the bathroom colors were great, modern with a retro look. The room had been newly remodeled, smelled fine, and the staff were friendly. The location was convenient too. My two letdowns were the uncomfortable bed, which needs a new mattress, and having nowhere comfortable to sit. A regular chair would be an easy fix since the stools only work for a short sit, and so would replacing the mattress.

I grew up in Bucksport and came back to see family. The Inn has changed a lot, and the improvements are amazing. It’s clean and affordable, and the staff seem very nice. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend staying here.

The rooms and grounds are immaculate. Out back, they’ve added trails, picnic tables and bonfire pits, plus corn hole and horseshoes for an easy evening with friends or loved ones. The staff are thoughtful, courteous and some of the hardest working hotel staff I’ve met. Sometimes you meet the right people at just the right time. Special shootout to Jocelyn and Mike. Thanks.

Room #11 was nicely decorated and had two beds, a mini frig, microwave and coffee. The Navy Blue tiled bathroom looked great, check-in was easy, and the planters and hanging baskets are beautiful. Reservations by phone were friendly too. Bucksport is beautiful, with the Bridge Observatory and Fort Knox nearby.
