The view of the lighted bridge from our room was so romantic, and we had a lovely walk along the river behind the hotel and through the charming town of Bucksport. We came through the area this past August and stayed one magical night. The front desk lady was so accommodating and sweet, and once she showed us the room with the beautiful bridge view, we were sold. The room was comfy, the shower was great, and the area was quiet. We couldn’t ask for more. We might drive back up from Ct just to have another date like that. We’ll be back!

The woman at the front desk was friendly and very helpful, and there’s a pretty good restaurant right across the street. Our room was very clean, with a fridge, microwave and television. There wasn’t coffee or breakfast. The view of the bridge and Fort Knox from the window was wonderful. We stayed one night, and it was definitely good value for the money and worth staying at.

The room was a little small, but the gorgeous view more than made up for that. Everything was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable.

We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and quiet, and everything was within walking distance. Loved the history, and the locals were very friendly!

There’s not much to complain about. The location is great, with amazing views on the river side. It’s basically a motel with very few amenities. The rooms are mostly comfortable, though the bathrooms are tiny and the beds could be a lot more comfortable.
