Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buda Austin South

I checked in around 5pm for a one-night stay, and the front desk woman was so polite. She walked me through check-in, which was really quick, and signed me up for Wyndham Rewards so I can earn points. The next morning she had a great spread of hot, fresh breakfast ready, and the food was very good. I'll be sending people I know here!

My daughter and I came for a quick weekend while she had a nearby class starting at 7am. The staff were welcoming, and when our room smelled bad because of animals in the room next door, they fixed the situation right away. Breakfast was hot and ready on time both days. The location was great, with stores and restaurants within walking distance, and we had no other issues. I'm not sure why there are so many lower reviews. I'd go back.

The room was a good size for the price, and the location worked well. Check-in took a while because the front desk attendant was having trouble checking someone in, so I translated for them. Breakfast was okay, though the coffee was cold. The elevator was a little scary too, since the buttons didn't work well.

There was barely any toilet paper in our room, no spare roll, and no tissues. I got tissues from my car and asked the front desk for a roll, but there was none in storage on the first floor or another storage area on the third. The attendant said he'd find one in an empty room and bring it up. Two hours later I went downstairs and he had a roll, but never brought it to me. It shouldn't take that much effort just to get toilet paper. I won't stay here again.
