The location was handy, near a car wash, Cabela’s, Tractor Supply, and H-E-B, and the staff were friendly. I also liked the full-size refrigerator and the table and booth seating. But the refrigerator leaked and its inside light didn't work. There was mold in the shower, small stains on the sheets and pillowcases, no Do Not Disturb sign, and only shampoo and a bar of soap, no conditioner. The shower took a long time to warm up, the loud air conditioner ran a lot, and the TV had a strip of dead pixels. We got just two towels, though they were replaced daily. The $20 nightly pet fee felt high, the gym equipment didn't work so I had to run outside, and exterior light came through the shades and kept the room bright at night. Checkout was difficult too. Nobody was at the desk or answered the phone, so after waiting 5-10 minutes I left a note and went.

The room was good, but the customer service was terrible. When I checked out on 1/18/2025 at 9:40 am, I asked about my $50 deposit and gave the date and time so management or the owners could review the video. The young man started cussing me out, calling me old and senile for not knowing refunds take 3 to 5 business days. He shouldn't be working in customer service and should be fired. If you're elderly, you definitely don't want to stay here. They discriminate against older people and think it's okay to cuss at and belittle them.

The beds were comfortable, but the rooms and bathroom were small. It was a bit confusing to figure out where to check in, and the room refrigerator didn't work.

There were holes in the bed's wrinkled sheets, apparently burned in by cigarettes. I called the front desk for fresh bedding, but the room phone was broken, so I had to call from my own phone. They brought a new set and asked me to make the bed myself. The elevator, hallway, and room all had unpleasant smells that made me question staying there, and the room was dirty with several roaches. I didn't try the amenities. I was afraid the pool might melt me like that scene in the Terminator. Wouldn't recommend.

The pet charge is $20 per pet each day, which is outrageous. With two dogs, expect the advertised room price to double.
