Residence Inn by Marriott Mt. Olive at Intl Trade Center

We loved the breakfast buffet and afternoon cookies. The rooms were comfortable and luxurious, the amenities were really nice, and the staff were very helpful. It was a wonderful stay.

Clean rooms and an awesome breakfast made for a great stay, and most of the staff were friendly. But some employees, especially at the front desk, openly talked about coworkers and customers in a pretty negative way. That was unprofessional, and I’m not sure I’ll come back.

Everyone was warm, welcoming, and helpful, and they were patient with our toddlers and babies, which we really appreciated. Tatyanna was especially professional and helpful at checkout. Our family stayed 4-5 nights, and the service made it a great visit. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, as you’d expect at a Marriott property. The location was convenient and worked perfectly for our family visit.

The room was super cute, and I wish I’d been able to enjoy it. But the showers were ice cold, and I told staff twice without getting any real concern from them. Then the power went out for over an hour on my last morning, which was the last straw after the cold showers. For me, a hotel stay means hot showers, electricity, and a clean bed. If I’m showering cold and the power’s out, that’s glamping. At over $200 a night, I can’t justify glamping here again.
