Hilton Buena Park Anaheim

I’ve stayed here twice, and my second visit was a big improvement. The hotel has a nice modern, minimal look, and the front desk staff and valet crew were professional and gracious. It’s good value overall, though I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast. The AC wasn’t working, so I put in a work order. It took three calls to get help. The first woman put me on hold, and when I called back at the five-minute mark, I spoke with her again. Ninety minutes later nobody had come, but after a third call with someone new, a team member arrived within minutes.

Dinner was really good, and Paul at the bar was great. He recognized me and remembered what I liked to drink. Chelsea and Ivan at the front desk were also so helpful when the business center printer had problems. They found another way to print the documents I needed. I was unsure when I arrived because the hotel doesn’t have the usual Hilton look, but the valet greeted me warmly and everyone was welcoming. The accessible room was as advertised, with plenty of space, an easy-to-use shower, and a lower bed. It was clean throughout my stay. Breakfast was the one letdown: the scrambled eggs were watery and the bacon wasn’t crisp. The market also had limited choices. I’d stay again.

Russell was a pleasure to meet. He was attentive, professional, always smiling, and ready to help. The avocado toast was my favorite breakfast dish, and I’ll definitely be back.

Our breakfast group kept getting bigger as more people came down, but Rudy and Russell made sure we could all stay together. They didn’t hesitate to help with the large group. The food was excellent, and so was the service.
