Knott's Hotel

Being able to walk the seven minutes to the park gates, then return to the hotel for a nap during the sunny afternoon, was priceless. We didn’t use our car for three days; it just sat in the hotel parking lot. We got season passes for Knotts Berry Farm/Six Flags etc., and will be returning from AZ soon. My son loved the family vacation, and my wife had always wanted something simple. We talked about the trip all the way home and agreed the hotel was worth it. It was our first time there, and the staff were such a pleasant surprise, so kind. The hotel was great overall. The curtains were faded, and on the east side, where the sun hits hard, morning light came through. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was a great value. My wife’s chilaquiles were delicious. We took two breaks from the park at the refreshing pool, though they should restock the towels more often. Highly recommended. Parking is included with the hotel stay. The park has daily and season meal plans available, so ask about discounts and check the information center.

The restaurant food was delicious, and our server was very attentive. The room was nice, the location convenient, and everyone we met was friendly. A shout-out to Kenny and the housekeeping staff: I accidentally left something behind, and they set it aside for me. I was already hours away from Buena Park, but Kenny mailed it right away. I really appreciate him. We had a great time at the hotel in September, and we’ll definitely stay again. I highly recommend it.

We stayed three nights last week, and the room was modern, spacious, and comfortable for four adults. The lobby smells fantastic, and we loved the Boysenberry-scented body wash and shampoo. Our one-day park ticket package worked smoothly, with the tickets handed to us at the front desk, and Knott's Berry Farm was a quick walk away. We also went to Disneyland for a day. The hotel shuttle was an option, but it would have left only 30 minutes before the park opened, so we took a Lyft to arrive earlier. Still, it’s a nice option if you don’t mind skipping rope drop. I’d stay here again.

The pool was the main problem for me. Kids screamed there until closing, so if you want to sleep before 10 or 11, I hope you’re not a light sleeper. Forget enjoying the picturesque pool, splash pad, and Jacuzzi peacefully: unattended kids were cannonballing into the hot tub and splashing heavily chlorinated water in my face while screaming. There’s no lifeguard or attendant, and no peace or quiet. Parents didn’t seem to care. The hotel should have floors for families and floors without children, though that wouldn’t make the unregulated pool any more usable. The beds were lovely, the rooms beautiful, the views great, the restaurants lovely, and the pricing was perfect. Staff were friendly and eager to help. But the doors between rooms were paper-thin, so we heard every conversation, question, and cry next door. With the park opening at 10am, children and their parents were up well before that, so sleeping past 9 wasn’t happening. This is a resort hotel, so some of that noise is expected, but I don’t know why people call it a quiet location. I’m not sure I’d stay again, since it doesn’t feel restful or relaxing. If you have lots of kids, though, it may be just the place.
