BV Overlook Camp & Lodging

We came back to BV Overlook after camping there two summers ago and had a blast in the Harvard tiny home. It was very clean, the loft beds were comfortable, and the mountain views were gorgeous. We hiked nearby every day and loved the fire pit. Thanks so much for providing a ramp for our son, who uses a wheelchair. A couple of things came up: there were no coffee filters in the home, and the bathroom sink clogged quickly and drained very slowly. The camp store was closed for two days, and on the third day no one was inside, so we didn't know who to tell. Thanks for a great stay!

Our pull-through site was level, so getting in and out for a one-night stay was easy. Theresa, the staff member who helped us settle in, was kind, informative, and helpful. The campground sits on a hillside just outside town, with beautiful surroundings and incredible views of the Collegiate Peaks. There are several outdoor seating spots, as well as play and grilling areas.

The restrooms were spotless and warm, and the showers were clean and warm too. In the common room we found everything we needed to heat up an easy meal. Our cabin stayed comfortable and warm with the provided blankets, and we didn't need the space heater. It made for a fun late-fall getaway, and we'll be back.

The best part was meeting Pumpkin! We stayed in the yurt and loved it. It kept us warm when the temperature dropped overnight, and the mountain views were spectacular. The bathrooms were really nice and warm too.
