The cabins are adorable and even nicer than the photos, with some great improvements. We had a lovely weekend at Pinon Court. The owners were friendly and accommodating when we arrived late, and later helped us with the heater. The beds were comfortable, too. It’s a short walk to Main St and the river, and our dogs loved the park across the street. We’ll be back!
The owners were extremely nice, and the price was good. I was in the area to look for gold, though, and honestly the bed in my truck would’ve been softer. The bed was rough. I’d probably return, just not to the third room on the left as you come in.
This is a cozy spot to sleep and shower after a day out exploring Colorado’s hikes. The owners made us feel like family, and the location is convenient. One night, a band staying in the cabins put on an impromptu concert, which added to the charm. I’d stay here to support a local business. If you’re after somewhere posh, keep on truckin’.
I’m reviewing the customer service, not a hotel stay. I had booked three days over Presidents' Day but couldn’t go, and I was already past the cancellation deadline when I called. They said I could cancel and would only be charged if they couldn’t fill the room. Within 24 hours they called to say it had been filled, so I didn’t need to worry about a charge. They didn’t have to follow up, and I appreciated the kindness.
We had a good stay. The owners were so nice and accommodating, and gave us great suggestions for drives and fun places to visit. There are good places to eat, including The Roosters Crow Cafe, El Paraiso, and Eddy line Pub& Brewery!
