Buffalo Guesthouse

We found ourselves happy just spending time in Allentown, with its walkable restaurants and bars and business owners who seemed to know one another. The neighborhood felt homey, and we loved staying at the Buffalo guesthouse. The staff were friendly and accommodating when we arrived late. It was fun seeing them cook dinner together and enjoy their evening. The owner gives personal tours and really makes you feel welcome, while still making it easy to connect with other guests or do your own thing. Entry codes and a room key made getting in and out simple, and I was glad there was an ice machine because I love cold water. My husband and I live and breathe football. I’m a Colts fan, he’s a Bills fan, and his team’s energy is contagious. We planned our first NFL experience around Bills v Pats and had a long list of ideas, including Macys place and barbill, but spending our time in Allentown worked out perfectly. It was a long trip, and I’m looking forward to coming back.

Wes was easy to talk to and reasonable, and the business has good boundaries. He gave me a helpful tour, just as I’d seen him do for other guests. The place is well organized and reasonably priced, with clean rooms and free breakfast in the morning. There’s a hot tub, a backyard, a TV, and board games. Wes and his team treat guests well and treat one another well, too.

The communal showers were fine since each room has its own nice bathroom. Breakfast was good, with toast and egg dishes, and the place has a cool spa. Turn the nozzles to get more power. I liked the clean design and would recommend staying here.

I was in town for a concert in November 2025 and stayed one night. The building has a neat mix of history and personality, and the service at Buffalo Guesthouse was both professional and friendly. I left a personal item behind, contacted them, and they shipped it to me. That really blew me away. I’d stay again if I’m back in Buffalo.
